Gullible People, Rise Up!

January 29, 2017
The 19 month election was a fear-con. We were given nothing but NAZI! FASCIST! WE’RE GONNA DIE! over and over.
People were scared and angry.
People are still scared and angry.
Angry, frightened people are very easy to con.
For instance, how many of us believed the story that Trump’s travel ban excluded nations he does business with?
His ban only mentions one nation: SYRIA. The others are “nations of concern” as listed in a law signed by Pres. Obama.
Remember the protest when that happened?
Neither do I.
You may wish to educate yourself HERE
But fear and anger is what led people to buy, without question, the fake story about Trump’s business interests. As if he really has any!
Fooling people by making them scared and angry is such an old technique that there was a Broadway show about exactly this technique.
So if you believed that Trump specifically named 7 countries and excluded those he does business with, then you were played as easily as the corn-fed jays in Iowa.

The Upside Of Conservative Cruelty…

September 23, 2013

Is there really an upside to the republicans cutting food stamps and trying to make health insurance unaffordable to the average worker? There sure is! It puts the lie to any conservative claim that America is a Christian nation. Christians feed the poor and heal the sick. Early Christians are the first organized communists as well. It is in the very bible the followers of the rabbi Jesus claim to read (but like RICK SANTORUM, never have and never will):

Acts of the Apostles, Chapter 4

32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. 33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all 34 that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.

— Hmmm Sounds like redistribution of wealth to me. Was it voluntary? Nope. One couple who held back on their possessions was killed… by GOD.

Next Chapter:

Acts 5 Ananias and Sapphira

5 Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. 2 With his wife’s full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself, but brought the rest and put it at the apostles’ feet.

3 Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? 4 Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to human beings but to God.”

5 When Ananias heard this, he fell down and died. And great fear seized all who heard what had happened. 6 Then some young men came forward, wrapped up his body, and carried him out and buried him.

7 About three hours later his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 8 Peter asked her, “Tell me, is this the price you and Ananias got for the land?”

“Yes,” she said, “that is the price.”

9 Peter said to her, “How could you conspire to test the Spirit of the Lord? Listen! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.”

10 At that moment she fell down at his feet and died. Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her husband. 11 Great fear seized the whole church and all who heard about these events.

In short, good Christians are communists who believe that people should help others and not have private property. Period. There is no way around this. All the Bloombergs and FOX “news” talking heads cannot argue that one away. Thus America is most decidedly NOT in any way shape or form a Christian nation. So shut the fuck up about it.

Something To Consider…

April 17, 2013
NYPD - New York's Finest - Pepper Sprays Innocent By-Standers Out of FEAR of Occupy Movement. Perhaps A Tad Less Fixation On Legal Protest And More On Terrorism? Hmmmmm?

NYPD – New York’s Finest – Pepper Sprays Innocent By-Standers Out of FEAR of Occupy Movement. Perhaps A Tad Less Fixation On Legal Protest And More On Terrorism? Hmmmmm?

Perhaps if American law enforcement had not needlessly squandered millions of dollars and countless man-hours spying on and infiltrating the peaceful Occupy movement, or stopping and frisking innocent citizens by the millions, they would have freed up their finite resources to pay attention to those who are truly dangerous. And then perhaps law enforcement could have prevented the Boston attack.

But OCCUPY and young Black men scare the crap out of the richest Americans so that was where the money went. More’s the pity. And the shame.

LATE NEWS: Manhattan DA will NOT prosecute this violent man. So far the only punishment for Fat Tony Baloney is… he lost 10 vacation days. Wow…

All I Will Say About “Sequestration”

March 1, 2013

All I will say about the “sequestration” of funds:
What we have been hearing: Teachers fired! Police laid off! Prisoners released! Air Traffic Controllers Fired! Meat Inspectors Fired! VA hospitals closing!
What we SHOULD be hearing: People who monitor your phone calls FIRED! Warrantless Wire Tap Program SUSPENDED! People who look at surveillance camera output LAID OFF! Undercover informers in Church, Temple, Mosque and Occupy Movement LET GO!
Why does the ax only fall on services we like? How about chopping away at the police state?

People Who Chase Wealth PISS AWAY THEIR LIVES!

September 7, 2012

There is something fundamentally pathetic about people who dedicate their lives to amassing wealth. And those people KNOW IT. Remember when Ted Turner gave a billion dollars to the United Nations? He didn’t do it because it was a good thing to do, or because it was a way to help people. He stated at the time, that he did it because he knew if he gave away a billion dollars he would not be in the running to be the richest person in the world. He said the urge to be richer than anyone else was perverting everything in his life. Good point. Personally, I think the old adage should be reversed: we should ask, “If you’re so smart, then how come you’re rich?” It takes a particularly shallow mind to think that money and owning things is the goal of life. Look at Romney, for example. Or Bloomberg. They each have over six domiciles. I did not use the word “homes” because anyone with that number of places to live HAS NO HOME. These foolish, foolish people have rendered themselves HOMELESS in their pursuit of possessions. And again, they know it. When his policies are questioned, Bloomberg has been known to snap at reporters, “My Plan B is better than your Plan A!” What the hell does that mean? It means that when he feels threatened, all he has to fall back on is telling you that he is richer than you are. But he has no idea of a person so satisfied with life that he or she DOESN’T NEED A GODDAMN “PLAN B.” All he has is this wealth that he can never spend but he is compelled to add to nevertheless. It is a sickness well portrayed in such classics of our culture as Citizen Kane. For in the final analysis, can we ever really own anything? All the rich can do is gather things together for the people who will fight over them when they have died. And in the end, when they draw their last breath, here is what people like Romney and Bloomberg and the execrable Dick Cheney or the vile Rupert Murdoch will be thinking: “This CAN’T be happening to me! I have too much money!” But it will happen to them. And then, they will reap the Karma they have so diligently and so ignorantly chosen to sow. And you know something? They may find in that hard, cruel life to come the very happiness that eluded them this time around as they chased THINGS rather than embraced life. The poor, miserable fools…

Now… why on earth would you want to vote for people like this? People with no sense of reality when it comes to life? People who value things above people? Why would you want to give these misguided people power over your existence? Is that wise?

Mayor Hates Happy Hour!

May 17, 2012

When it suits his political purposes, New York City’s Mayor Bloomberg touts the small business as the backbone of our economy. He sings their praises. But how does Bloomberg treat small businesses? Like crap. He daily sends out squads of nitpicking bureaucrats to hit them with fines for the most arcane so-called violations. Every year our small businesses fork out hundreds of thousands in penalties for such infractions as having a vendor’s license in the pocket and not hanging around the neck (that’s a thousand bucks right there), or maybe an inspector noted a fly in a restaurant. Or a truck is making a delivery so it gets whacked with a fine for standing there. The list is endless. Bloomberg has already gone on record as saying the NYPD is his personal army. Clearly he feels that way about all the agencies which exist to SERVE THE PEOPLE.

Now ask this: How does Bloomberg treat BIG businesses? Every year he doles out hundreds of millions of dollars in corporate welfare to companies like Fresh Direct and others who say that without this baksheesh they would leave the City. It’s all a game Bloomberg plays on behalf of the super-wealthy at the expense of hardworking small business operators. With that mentality in mind, we note with little surprise that Mayor Bloomberg is again exploring ways to destroy New York City’s vibrant nightlife, which is nothing if not a collection of small businesses. Bloomberg failed some years ago to move the bars’ traditional 4:30 closing time up by several hours. Now MSNBC, among other outlets, reports that he wants to eliminate Happy Hours, wherein us working folk take some time to celebrate the end of the workday with a discounted libation or two. And of course, Happy Hour is a boon for all bars and restaurants, pulling millions into the economy and keeping these businesses healthy. When the crass mayor goes to a restaurant, reports show that he loudly orders the most expensive wine on the list, regardless of the food served. But should you are I want a reduced price shooter, nothing doing. That, friends, is real class-warfare.

Bloomberg is apparently intent on remaking the city to cure his own peculiar vices. The man pours salt on everything he eats, so he talks about banning salt from restaurant tables. He shovels bags of crappy snacks into his face during meetings, so he decides to ban hydrogenated oils (replacing them with the equally lethal Tropical oils). He is a reformed smoker, so he attacks smoking – soon to push a ban on all smoking in all apartment buildings, the privacy of your own home. Drinking holds an equally special place for Bloomberg. As has been reported in the media, Bloomberg is wont to drink so much wine with dinner that he blacks out (see NY Daily News, Saturday, February 26th, 2005). The man has a bizarre habit of seeing in others the very traits he considers repulsive in himself… So naturally Bloomberg, the man who drinks too much, wants to shut down our local bars, starting with his Happy Hour Ban. It won’t work any better than did Prohibition, which sent the nation on a 13 year drinking binge. But like all Out-of-Town reformers, he will try. Why he is doing this, well we leave that to the psychiatrists he so clearly needs.

Listen: Over the last 11 years as mayor, Bloomberg has evinced the greatest disdain for The People since Marie Antoinette. We need to show him that in spite of his power-hungry presumptions, Bloomberg is not the Queen of New York City. When the elections come around next year, he will either try to run again – he already used his billions to flout the Term-Limit laws last election – or he will stand aside and run a puppet like Raymond Kelly or Christine Quinn. He is already playing these two against each other in the media to make them fall in line with his grandiose schemes. What’s the answer? Oust the little sonovabitch! Do not let him or one of his flunkies get into office or the city will be no better than a small town north of Peoria. Is that what you want? It’s what Bloomberg wants. Mull that over the next time you reach across the bar for a bit of liquid refreshment after work.

All we want is to send Bloomberg back to Baltimore after the next election… Let New York City be New York City.

Of course, the picture above is presented in the spirit of fun. There are MANY profound differences between Michael Bloomberg and the late Carrie Nation. For instance, Ms. Nation was 6 feet tall…

The Wisdom of Pearls, Cont’d…

Welcome tourists and visitors to New York City! Soon it will be Travel/Vacation Season! And people from all over will pour into New York City.  We in NY are actually a friendly lot who help visitors when they need questions answered or directions. We can tell you the best way to get to the Statue of Liberty Enlightening The World (actual name) or to the new Yankee Stadium which we paid for so millionaires can play a game…

We have amazing food here! What you will not find are TransFats. The health conscious mayor had a law enacted that bans bad TransFats in food sold here. So what do the chefs and bakeries turn to instead? PALM OIL! Which adds to the shelf-life and tastiness of products. It does this AS IT KILLS YOU… The mayor is an egomaniacal lunatic who disregards his own health while dictating what the rest of us peons eat and drink – at a celebrity filled dinner party he gave for the International Olympic Committee, for example, Mr. Mayor guzzled down two bottles of wine and then passed out at the table. See how health conscious he is? He did that, we infer, to avoid desserts filled with DEADLY PALM OIL
Read here about the oil that Mayor Bloomberg allows, while he garners publicity for being the first to ban TransFats.  It is like Utah which once offered a choice for those facing the death penalty… You want to hang or you want a firing squad? Thanks for listening.  Enjoy NYC…

Hmmm Bloomberg and the Bush?

April 1, 2010

Grampy Bush

April 1st brought news that NYC’s Mayor Michael Bloomberg has appointed directors to his self-aggrandizing Bloomberg Family Foundation. Among the more bizarre appointments is Johnathan “Jeb” Bush, former governor of Florida and one-time presidential hopeful till his drunkard brother screwed things up so damn badly. But the point here is that I have to wonder how Bloomberg, who calls himself a Jew, could deal with a man who is still spending family money gathered from his grandfather, Prescott Bush, who had business with Nazis before and during World War II. Screw the concentration camps; business is business, right, m’boy?

History notes that Prescott Bush was one of the directors of the Union Banking Corporation, an investment bank controlled by the Thyssen family, and seized by the Government in 1942 under the Trading with the Enemy Act.  The Government stepped in because the bank was owned by “enemy aliens.”

Fritz Thyssen – a Nazi with whom Prescott Bush had business ties through Union Banking, is known to have approved of the suppression of Jews in Germany and in fact fired all his Jewish employees when the Nazis took power. When the Nazis eventually turned on him, as they were wont to do with their own, he was incarcerated in a camp where, history also notes, he was well treated.  Thyssen died at the ripe old age of 78 in, that’s right, Argentina – where it seems they have the equivalent of the legendary Elephants’ Graveyard for “former” Nazis.

The Bush family has always sidestepped the question of Grampy Prescott profiting from the war, saying with great indignation that he was not a Nazi. Well, hell’s bells, man, nobody ever said he was a bloody Nazi. It is alleged that his banking business helped build up the Nazi war machine. And they never denied that.  What else could the Nazis and a well-known Nazi industrialist like Thyssen have been doing with the damn money? Building those famous German breweries in countries they conquered and slaughtered? Yeah. That’s it. Breweries. Yeah…

And this is the family that Bloomberg runs to for his “charity” work. You gotta wonder… why is he sucking up to the Bush family? Yes, the same Bush family that for years had restrictive clauses in their deeds saying they would not sell property to… JEWS!  Yeah, those Bushes… If Bloomberg wants to join the country club so damn badly, let him buy it.  That is, if they will sell to a Jew.  It’s a shanda.
