A New LOW For The NY Times…

Who The Hell’s Gonna Read
The Second Paragraph?

Second Paragraph

FEAR PORN

Ok. I am ANGRY. Thoroughly angry. I write these words in New York, the self-proclaimed EPICENTER of the Covid-19 outbreak. So would it surprise you to know that based on the latest numbers (April 1, 2020) out of ALL the people here only TWO GODDAMN FIFTHS OF ONE FUCKING PERCENT have tested positive for CORONAVIRUS?
Showing not just his lack of basic math skills but an appalling lack of vocabulary, New York City’s Mayor, one Bill DeBlasio (neé Warren Wilhelm) calls the Big Apple “The Epicenter of America’s Epicenter.” The City-Wide rate of infection? Also TWO GODDAMN FIFTHS OF ONE FUCKING PERCENT.

Additionally, we recently learned that the little elderly man suddenly everyone’s hero, Anthony Fauci, has been lying in public about Coronavirus. He has a PRIVATE position and a PUBLIC position. We’ve heard that before… While Fauci solemnly issues dire predictions of gloom and doom to satisfy the FEAR PORN requirements of TV news, he’s been giving much less ominous stats to medical journals – read by a small fraction of the public:
Fauci Lies

QUOTE: Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has repeatedly cited more jarring figures in public. For instance, Fauci declared in March 11 congressional testimony that the current coronavirus “is 10 times more lethal than the seasonal flu,” which would be about 1 percent. His testimony generated news headlines that blared across the internet and television news, and it remains frequently cited today.
But among his learned colleagues in academia, he has provided the more conservative analysis.
“[T]he case fatality rate may be considerably less than 1%,” Fauci wrote in an article published in the New England Journal of Medicine on March 26. “This suggests that the overall clinical consequences of COVID-19 may ultimately be more akin to those of a severe seasonal influenza (which has a case fatality rate of approximately 0.1%) or a pandemic influenza (similar to those in 1957 and 1968) rather than a disease similar to SARS or MERS, which have had case fatality rates of 9 to 10% and 36%, respectively.”

You got that? Remember, Fauci is just shy of 80 years old. Doctors from his generation were DELIBERATELY TRAINED to scare people so they will, in desperation, LISTEN TO AND FOLLOW THE DOCTOR’S ADVICE. They are the same old people who were trained to HIT grown people just before administering an injection. That was supposed to dull the pain of the needle but it was a power trip. How are TWO pains medically better than ONE pain? And I will leave aside what the newly-“woke” idiots don’t know about this wicked midget: HE IS STILL SEETHING OVER NOT HAVING GOTTEN A NOBEL PRIZE FOR HIS SLIPSHOD WORK IN THE AIDS CRISIS.

So all this media panic is counter-productive AND LETHAL. Fear and Stress STOP THE IMMUNE SYSTEM. Scaring people IS THE SINGLE WORST THING WE CAN DO NOW.
STRESS
Why does MEDIA scare people?
One picture speaks a thousand words…

money

And this bring us to THE NY YORK TIMES

At the Times, they LOVE stories of priests dying from this thing.
Here is TODAY’S dead priest story:
Dead Priest
NOTE: Today’s priest not only weighed over 300 pounds, looking at his picture…

BUT THIRTY-FIVE PARAGRAPHS DOWN – after the obligatory accusation of COVID-19 being RACIST… we learn this about the 49-year old man:
“He suffered from chronic bronchitis but was relatively young, and it did not seem unusual when he developed a cough.”

Over THIRTY GODDAMN PARAGRAPHS DOWN.
“Who the hell’s gonna read the second paragraph…”

☞ So an obese man just under 50 years old… who has a chronic respiratory condition SO BAD THAT COUGHING IS NORMAL FOR HIM… USUAL FOR HIM… died after getting an ACUTE RESPIRATORY DISEASE. What the hell did they expect?
And the Times uses this to exacerbate the panic… Just as they did with Italy at the start of this thing.
And the Times KNOWS this or they would not have buried the priest’s medical conditions so far down in the story. That is EVIDENCE OF A GUILTY MIND.
The priest may well have died WITH Novel Coronavirus but it is a stretch to say that he died BECAUSE OF IT.
Jumping up from behind and yelling STICK ‘EM UP at this poor afflicted man would have likely sent him to the hospital in a near-death state.

That is how the media WHIPS UP FEAR. Now here’s the most disgusting part:
For the duration of this disease outbreak – THE TIMES HAS TAKEN DOWN ITS PAYWALL.
They are patting themselves on the back over that, claiming it is a PUBLIC SERVICE. But in reality WITH ALL THEIR FECULENT CLICK-BAIT STORIES THEY NEED THE PAYWALL DOWN TO RAISE THEIR NUMBERS AND THUS INCREASE ADVERTISING RATES NEXT TIME THEIR CIRCULATION CALCULATIONS ARE MADE.

The NY TIMES is DELIBERATELY scaring as many people as possible FOR THEIR OWN FINANCIAL GAIN using FALSE INFORMATION even though scaring people is LETHAL.

Damn These Bastards

STILL AT IT

Pizzarelli Obit

First: “The guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli, his son and frequent musical associate, said the cause was the coronavirus.”

That’s a MEDICAL SOURCE? Would you suspect, perhaps, that this unfortunate man, at age 94, MAY JUST have had some, oh…, underlying health problems? Here’s what we find out ALMOST 20 PARAGRAPHS LATER:

“Mr. Pizzarelli continued to perform into his 90s, even after a stroke and pneumonia led to hospitalizations in 2015 and 2016 and left him debilitated.” – emphasis added

Left. Him. Debilitated.

So a frail man, almost 100 years old, stricken by the ravages of age, falls ill and dies.
BUT LET’S ASCRIBE HIS DEATH TO CORONAVIRUS AND GET THOSE CLICKS UP!

Who The Hell’s Gonna Read
The Second Paragraph?

Have these people NO CONSCIENCE?

In today’s America, fear addiction runs rampant. News media and politicians thrive on creating and sustaining fear. There is no reason to live your life in fear. Wake up to the way orthodox religion & Other “Powers That Be” control the population THROUGH FEAR. An invaluable treatise, this book is a must-read for anyone who wants to lead a free, independent life. A life WITHOUT FEAR… Some people will no doubt be offended and shocked by this book’s stance against organized religion seeking to control our lives. This book bravely exposes the way the manipulators of fear seek to continue their hold on us and hold onto their power by any means necessary. The new introduction puts the book in its historical context and shows why it is still relevant today.

Review Excerpt: “This book explains in crystal clarity HOW and WHY unconscionable individuals and organizations saturate others with FEAR every single day. It’s been going on as long as people have been thieves and hungry to steal the freedom and goods of others. We are barraged with FEAR TACTICS daily by those who eagerly take money out of our pockets; usurp the freedom from our lives and keep us as slaves by clouding our thoughts with FEAR.” Read more HERE

The IgnoratiItaly-Like Growth☝︎Here’s a person worried that PROSPECT PARK in Brooklyn will turn New York City into Italy. Meaning: HIS FEAR IS BASED ON TOTAL IGNORANCE! As of this posting Only ONE TENTH OF ONE PERCENT of the NYC population tests positive for any type of coronavirus. Most of them are not even sick. Of the sick, statistically 80% will recover. Anyone who mentions ITALY – where 99% of the deaths are related to other causes – is a fear-mongering maniac falsely yelling FIRE in a crowded theater.

Sues Cuomo

“A western New York law firm slapped with a “cease and desist” order by the state for continuing to allow employees to report to the office amid the COVID-19 pandemic is suing Gov. Andrew Cuomo and state Attorney General Letitia James for alleged abuse of power.
“HoganWillig PLLC said executive orders Cuomo signed in March that restricted business activities violated the U.S. Constitution, while James’ “scare tactics” claims that the firm would face civil and criminal penalties should it not adhere to the orders violates the firm’s rights under the Equal Protection Clause, according to Wednesday’s complaint in the Western District of New York.”

Another Fake Media “Crisis”

January 27, 2015

So SUPER-STORM JUNO came and went with a fizzle. I knew this storm was another Ebola-style media “crisis” when I heard an NPR “reporter” gravely announce: “Some say we will get winds of 75mph.”
The phrase SOME SAY means: “I just made this up.” And when I saw that BREITBART reported a huge, horrible storm, then I knew for sure there was nothing to feel concerned about. Government officials need to stop relying on TV and Internet “news” for their decisions.
This shrill hysteria – hysteria that had desperate people crashing into supermarkets – was not erring on the side of caution. It was erring on the side of ratings.
Orson Welles and his historic War of the Worlds broadcast showed that some people will believe anything that mass media puts out.
Ever since then, they have whipped up one fake fear-crisis after another. In the last year, between the phony EBOLA panic and yesterday’s totally over-hyped SUPERSTORM JUNO, it seems clear that we need congressional hearings on these over-paid buffoons who claim to report news. And don’t get me started on WORST JOURNALIST Don Lemon tooling about the deserted streets of New York in his fatuous BlizzardMobile.
Oh well.  Now that every storm is an event and has to have a name, what comes next, a theme song?

With all this in mind, I present this post again:

Doing Something About The Weather

Well, not really about the weather, but about the weather forecast. Yesterday, here in NYC rain was predicted yet it never came. Today they said it would be warm, the temperature will not see 60°. Yes, they do get it wrong way too often. Surveys show them at best accurate 75% of the time. That is why they hedge their bets by saying “there’s a 50% chance of rain” meaning it will rain or it won’t. Thanks guys. It’s ALWAYS going to rain or not. As a Tarot reader if I had the dismal record of a TV/Radio weatherman, I would have no clients. And deservedly so. Just listen to my Tarot reading show (Rev. Eliot’s Magickal Window) at the ask1radio archive – or live at 11 Eastern Time on Wednesday nights – to see for yourself how accurate I am. I don’t need to trumpet my accuracy when it is there for people to hear. But why can’t weather predicting pros, with all their satellites and gazillions of dollars worth of equipment, not measure up to me, a plain, old fashioned Tarot reader? So here is my plan – and you can join me:

I am going to use occult means to predict the weather and compare it with the professionals. For a period of time I will use a pendulum to see if I may divine the weather. I found a weather-related pendulum chart on-line and I will print it out and use it. I will ask at night about the next day and then verify in the morning. And I will check during the day, keeping meticulous records. And then I will report back. Try it yourself and let me know what happens. Here is the chart (click on it to enlarge, then grab it):

Keep me posted! Let’s see who gets better results – Mr. Blow-Dry with his maps, or the simple Esoteric Pendulum. Maybe we can all get jobs in TV predicting the weather!

How Do I Get Maureen Dowd’s Job?

August 21, 2013

maureen_dowd

How do I get Maureen Dowd’s job? It seems like a good gig with NO responsibility to tell the truth. Today she FABRICATED A QUOTATION and the NY TImes handled it with a mere footnote:
“An earlier version of this column incorrectly quoted a response by Chirlane McCray, the wife of Bill de Blasio to a question about Christine Quinn. The column has been updated to reflect the full response.”

Hmmmm. THE COLUMN “incorrectly” quoted a response?… The COLUMN did it? Not Dowd? See how removed that alleged correction is? It is like it just sorta, kinda happened… by itself.  Dowd lied, is what it should say. She lied about something a mayoral candidate’s spouse said. That led another candidate to denounce THE SPOUSE! Here is the candidate’s response to the lie about his wife:

STATEMENT FROM DE BLASIO CAMPAIGN MANAGER BILL HYERS

New Yorkers for de Blasio campaign manager Bill Hyers today released the following statement. Below is a transcript of Chirlane McCray’s comments, and a link to the audio.

“Chirlane McCray was misquoted. As the transcript makes clear, her actual comments were about Speaker Quinn’s unwillingness to listen to the people on education, and paid sick leave, and any suggestion otherwise is disingenuous and absurd. From the closure of St. Vincent’s to the delay of paid sick leave to term limits, Speaker Quinn owns a history of ignoring everyday New Yorkers. Speaker Quinn’s refusal to ask the wealthy to pay a little more on taxes to ensure universal pre-kindergarten for every four-year old — Bill de Blasio’s signature issue — is another example. It is wrong for Speaker Quinn and her campaign to distort and confuse with baseless attacks in order to distract from the Speaker’s indefensible policy record.”

Transcript of Chirlane McCray’s remarks:

MD: “What do you think the problem is with women voters, why hasn’t she been able to get that Hillary kind of thing going where whatever flaws are involved they’re excited to break that barrier?”

CM: “Well I am a woman, and she is not speaking to the issues I care about and I think a lot of women feel the same way.
“I don’t see her speaking to the concerns of women who have to take care of children at a young age or send them to school and after school, paid sick days, workplace, she is not speaking to any of those issues.

“What can I say? And she is not accessible, she is not the kind of person that I feel that you can go up and talk to and have a conversation with about those things, and I suspect that other women feel the same thing I’m feeling.”

The Scientific ESP Report

FIRST DO NO RESEARCH…

April 3, 2010

The NY Times, that “newspaper of record” just ran a piece about a doctor who does not want to treat people who voted for Obama. Yikes…

As an aside, the writer – one DAMIEN CAVE (great name for a gay porno star) – notes, quote, “Doctors take the Hippocratic oath promising to do no harm, but once that requirement is fulfilled do they have a right to choose patients based on politics?” Now look at that again. The article includes a link, as have I, to the Hippocratic Oath. Had Mr. Cave (gotta love that name!) clicked on the link in his own article he would have seen that – TA DAH! – there is nothing in the oath that says anything about not doing harm.  Here is what his own link says: “The phrase “first, do no harm” is often, incorrectly, attributed to the oath.” And as you see, it includes another link which is dedicated to that one troublesome phrase alone.

How this fallacy about First Do No Harm got started is anybody’s guess but I bet it had something to do with the intro to a 1930’s radio drama like Dr. Kildare or something similar. It is as fallacious as the much repeated belief that witnesses in court have to swear an oath on the bible. Nope.  Not true either.

In case you don’t know the Hippocratic Oath – and there exist several of them – it does forbid abortion. Imagine forcing doctors to stick to that little clause.

While a lot of  journalists mistakenly believe that the Oath says, “First do no harm,” Mr. Cave (no comment!) wins the Lazy Reporter Award because the proof that he was wrong is right there in a link in his own article. Friends, THAT is fucking lazy.

I pointed out the mistake, as did a doctor, but as of this posting the Times has not corrected the error…
